Taken from my interview with Jean-Benoît Dunckel from Air :
"Having Neil Hannon and Jarvis Cocker sing on the new album is great. They added a lot of testosterone to our music".
I couldn't help but think this was very cute. From anyone but a member of Air, I'd have thought it was ironic.
But no, they're like that. Innocent brilliant children prodigy trapped in adult bodies. And they're so sexless they actually think a gin-soaked effeminate Irish and a gangly bespectacled Brit geek are testosterone-fuelled macho singer.
I don't want Air to ever come across Henry Rollins. They'd probably be killed by his pheromones. And that'd be a terrible loss for contemporary music.
Blythou out.

Everytime I listen to Cherry Blossom Girl, Iv' got chills along my spine.
Today, I interview Air for the first time. It's exciting, yet I know I'll feel a bit let down since they won't give me chills along my spine by talking about their new album.
For those interested, their new album, Pocket Symphony, is a lot less pop than the previous one. At first, I didn't like it, but it's growing on me.
Oh, and I also melt in front of the Sexy Boy video (esp. when the caption "Sexy Boy must return to Earth" pops up on the screen... because, yeah, Sexy Boy MUST return to Earth, we need him there) and I'm pretty sure the Air boys don't do interviews with their little monkey. Shame on them.
