Over the last week, I've baked or made...

- a batch of honey & cinnamon muffins
- a batch of dark chocolate truffles
- three batches of almond macaroons
- an apple crumble
- a chocolate fondant
- and finally, 35 cream puffs.

To my defense, Anita/spazzygirl19 was visiting and I spoilt her a little. And yesterday, Isaline & Fred came for a drink. And today, Ginger's invited us...

Oh, but the good thing is I've tasted none of those :-)))

Well, your husband yells : "OMIGOD ! Cooking Mama has turned into Amy Winehouse !"

I wish he'd taken a picture, because it was exactly that.

I've been bestowed the great honor of baking Baby Margaux's birthday cake. I'm thinking of making a sponge cake with strawberry jam filling... decorated as Hello Kitty!'s face.

If you have better ideas, don't hesitate to submit them in the comments. I want this birthday cake to be truly memorable. Even if Margaux won't taste it because she's too young for that, but go try baking a cake out of applesauce and baby food ;-)

- Welcomed dozens of guests & friends
- Received two bouquets of flowers :-)
- Babysat a friend's kid while he was browsing our record sale
- Cleaned his daughter, Zoe's jeans after she got drenched in apple juice
- Dried the jeans with my hairdryer
- Bought a book for our friend JM's birthday
- Chatted with JM & Caroline who're ready to adopt my god daughter's "unwanted" gift
- Made broccoli & zucchini soup for diner tonight
- Realised we've made nearly €300 (everything was priced €1)
- Given away books and promo copies of DVDs and albums
- Advised a friend on the phone on her relationship with her new boyfriend
- Caught up with friends I hadn't seen in ages
- Chatted about Abba with anyone ready to listen

Strangely, I'm not even tired.

I'm partying with an all girl-cast tonight (a rare occurrence for me) and I've decided to bake cookies. Raisin and oatmeal cookies to be more specific...

Peanut came along for the baking ride and thought it'd be wiser to brew me a Nespresso espresso first. My little girl knows me sooo well !
