Thanks to everyone who sent their good wishes for Blythoumamma's recovery. She's doing fine and she was touched when I told her people she'd never met were concerned about her health.
And it looks like this is going to be another busy week.
I'm thinking of getting a paid Flick'r account. I've got some photos to upload and no more space to do so... Is it worth it ?

Yesterday, as i was heading after an interview and was planning to go see an exhibition with Thierry who had a day off, he called me and said he was rushing to go see my mother and sister in the suburbs.
Turns out my mother had cut her finger while gardening and even though it was a small cut, she fainted and hurt her head. My sister found her while she was regaining consciousness but since she was bleeding and her neck was covered in blood, my sis freaked out, panicked and called us to the rescue.
So off we rushed, after making sure my mother had called a doc.
My mother had a minor scalp cut at the back of her head but she needed stitches, so I took her to the clinic, while Thierry stayed with my sister to keep her spirits up.
Of course, I was worried sick because my mother's like me. We never take a break, we always push ourselves to our limits... And I was pissed off because finding a cab in the suburbs is more difficult than building your own hot rod to go the clinic fast !
Finally, I got a cab, made sure my mother wouldn't have to wait too long in the ER, stayed with her until she got her 4 stitches, nabbed another cab back (the ER doctor was really nice and felt sorry we didn't have a car and tried also to call a cab along with the ER nurse) and stayed with her and my sis the whole night.
This morning, I went to the drugstore to buy her meds, made sure she called her doc to get a shot & called some friends, took care of her laundry with my sis and reassured my mom that it wasn't an "old lady" kind of accident.
Right now, I'm knackered and had to cancel an interview I was supposed to do this afternoon at 3 pm. I'm drained, I need to take the day off and chill.
Sorry for the loooong and mundane entry, but I didn't show my worries yesterday and this morning and now I need to get them out before they eat me inside.
